Adding recipients from one campaign to another (or “Daisy-Chaining”) campaigns can simplify your workflow.

.

Workflow

To enroll recipients from another campaign:

  1. Select a campaign (only deployed campaigns can be selected)
  2. Select which recipients you want enroll in this campaign.  Depending on the campaign type there could be several different options (for example reach the goal, fail to reach the goal, select from stage etc.)
  3. Select the timeframe
      • Only BEFORE this campaign is deployed
      • ONLY AFTER this campaign is deployed
      • Both BEFORE and AFTER this campaign is deployed
  4. Add optional filter
      • Opened ANY message
      • Did NOT open ANY message
      • Clicked ANY link
      • Did NOT click ANY link
      • Opened ANY message but did NOT click ANY link

.

Examples:

Reach the goal

Recipients that reached the goal of the selected campaign will automatically be enrolled in this campaign.

Example:  You have a Call to Action campaign promoting a webinar.  Anyone who reaches the goal (eg signs up for the webinar) should automatically be added to a new campaign which sends a new series of messages. (You can specify whether to add recipients that reached the goal only BEFORE the new campaign is deployed, only AFTER the new campaign is deployed, or both BEFORE and AFTER the new campaign is deployed.)

Fail to reach the goal

Recipients who went through the entire campaign and did NOT reach the goal and ended up in the “End Stage” will automatically be enrolled in this campaign.

Example:  You have a Call to Action campaign promoting a webinar. Anyone who receives all of the campaign messages and does NOT reach the goal (sign up for the webinar) you want to add to a new campaign which sends a link to the recorded version of the webinar. (You can specify whether to add recipients that reached the failed to goal only BEFORE the new campaign is deployed, only AFTER the new campaign is deployed, or both BEFORE and AFTER the new campaign is deployed.)

At end stage with optional filter

Recipients who are at the end stage of a campaign and and have NOT opened any of the campaign messages.

Example:  You have a welcome campaign that sends out three messages. You want to create a new campaign and enroll ONLY recipients that have reached the end of the campaign AND have NOT opened ANY of the campaign messages.

Are in a selected stage(s)

Recipients who enter a particular stage of the campaign will automatically be be enrolled in the new campaign.

Example:  You have a Call to Action campaign promoting a webinar, which sends 3 promotional emails.  Anyone who has received message number 2 and has not signed up, you want to add to a new campaign to promote a new webinar.
